Description: With a history since the 17th century, Chateau Perenne is a beautiful castle situated in Blaye Cotes de Bordeaux surrounded by hills with generous sunlight exposure. Given this optimal terroir, the winery has produced many significant wines that are aromatic and and pleasant to drink. Rich notes of ripe fruits and velvety tannin bring out the characteristics of the terroir. Chateau Perenne was also listed as a 1st class Bourgeois in the Bordeaux et Ses Vins in 1868, a Bordeaux wine bible.
Blending: • 95% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon
Tasting Note: Bright ruby red displaying fresh red fruits aroma on the nose. Round and fruity on the palate with fragrance of oak. Complex structure with a long toasty and spicy finish.
