Description: As one of the oldest wineries in Medoc, Château Arsac has over 900 years of rich history. Passed on by different lords since the 12th century, at one point it was owned by the brother of the great philosopher Michel de Montaigne, and now it is finally in the good hands of Mr. Philippe Raoux. In the beginning of the 18th century, Château Arsac was planted with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, and it became the largest Medoc vineyards in the early 20th century. This 2010 wine of Château Arsac, with its rich fruity aroma and fresh quality, is an extremely rare bottle of excellent wine!
Blending: • 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, • 33% Merlot
Tasting Note: On top of the riches of this vintage, this expression of Arsac is dominated by the minerality of the terrior with floral perfume and sumptuous fruit. It boasts a harmonious balance with deep tannin backed up nicely by that great freshness that is synonymous with good ageing capacity.
