Description: Chateau d’Agassac, the premium wine is crafted from the oldest vines and the very best terroirs of deep gravelly soil. It is the very epitome of a modern Medoc, powerful with a strong backbone but at the same time beautifully balanced and fruity with smooth tannin. Although made for cellaring, it will delight connoisseurs of medium-aged wines who appreciate its fullness, fruitiness and balance. It is one of the Haut-Medoc’s best reviewed and most-awarding wines.
Blending: • 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, • 45% Merlot
Tasting Note: Deep garnet red color with hints of purple which boost the wine’s brightness. A delicious and powerful nose of prunes and black berries. Cherry notes with oaky vanilla finish after aeration with a touch of minerality. Supple velvety tannin coating a firm, rich and fresh texture, silky structured yet offering flavors of fresh thyme, black pepper and camphor. A lively and fruity finish.
